If this is supposed to be an appetiser for their upcoming longplayer on 4AD, then this is the tastiest one I've encountered in some while. Two excellent pieces of chilled downbeat taking you from Jamaica to South-America and back again. Sometimes darkly mysterious, at other times balancing on the verge of cheesy (those melancholic guitars!), yet always impeccably produced and so smooth even your granny might fall asleep to it. And on top of all this in vinyl's most sympathetic and handy format. Who could possibly ask for more?
