These French madmen have been playing hardcore for more than 10 years now. They already put out two more albums ('Cornered', 'Forever war'). I only have their CD "forever war" and "les 150 passions meurtrieres" doesn't really sound different. Too bad this is only a mini-CD. It has only 6 songs. Maybe their music has become a little bit slower, but it also has become increasingly heavier. Originally bands like Raw Deal, Breakdown and Cro-mags influenced them. All of these influences have disappeared, as Kickback now has a more metal approach. If you know how the bands "Buried alive" or "All out war" sound, you know how "Kickback" sounds. All of their lyrics on this CD are about sex, violence, destruction and killing people. So, I think this Stephen Bessac (lead vocalist) is one sick little puppy. Anybody who has seen the movie "American Psycho" or read the book and could identify with the main character's thoughts, well people here's the sequal for ya.
