He's back. The man behind the mask. And how! The king of shockrock is back with a new album. His first one, since the release of 1994's 'The Last Temptation'. This time, it weren't monsters, zombies or nightmares that inspired Alice Cooper to write an album. No, this time it were images from TV about e.g. the war in Kosovo that inspired Alice to write it. It was the nowadays state of things in the world that inspired him to write such brutal songs as 'Brutal Planet', 'Pick up the bones' and 'Eat some more' (about the Third World). No nightmares, this is reality! This time, Alice worked with Bob Marlette, and again, after lots of years, with producer Bob Ezrin, who was responsible for classics like 1972's 'School's out', 1973's 'Billion Dollar Babies' and 1975's 'Welcome to my Nightmare' As we all know, sometimes the truth is more scary than nightmares. And the truth is, that this is a beast of an album. Eat this, Marilyn!
