Placebo: Bonjour Madames Et Messieurs

Placebo really seemed to enjoy themselves playing at the festival Nuits Botanique. And the reason why was clear, since singer/ guitarist Brian Molko immediately stated: "it is always special playing in your place of birth". This must have inspired him (and the rest of the band with him) to giving one of their better concerts since the last couple of years.
All the hit singles from the regular albums were played as well as some non-album tracks (e.g. 'Slackerbitch'). The crowd, who had been on Brians hand since he started his introductions in French, couldn't get enough of it. They made the band comeback or as much as four times and ended with an exploding and never-ending 'Evil Dildo' version.
Afterwards the real fans were still struggling for the drumsticks tossed into the crowd by Steven. Placebo definitely proved today can be one of the most energetic live bands of this moment.
