The Railway Raver | You'll Never Get Anywhere By Spending All Day Play

Rephlex celebrated their 100th release earlier this year, but the IDM pioneers are still at the very edge of mindblowing electronic music. A few months after the release of the anniversary sampler 'The Braindance Coincidence', I'm holding release 111 in my hands, and I'm loving it. Jordan Muscott aka the Railway Raver already put out two 12"s on Rephlex. Dunno about those other two, but this EP brought me right back to the great days of IDM. 'The Eyes of Garfield (Part 4)' is an instant classic in the great tradition of the 'Artifical Intelligence' series on Warp, and the other tracks vary from entertaining to outstanding. Not only does Mr. Muscott proove he can make the finest of music; he also has a nice sense of humour.
