Two Scandinavian rock 'n roll bands on this record, each of them offering you three songs. As the mighty Hellacopters have just released their fourth album 'High Visibility' you won't hear any new Hellacopters songs. No, on 'White Trash Soul' Nick Royale and friends (who was also responsible for the fine artwork of this record) play two Smokey Robinson-songs, 'Whole lot of shakin' in my heart (since I met you)' and 'Get Ready', of course in the well-known and typical Hellacopters approach. Great work, if you didn't know it were covers, then you would think it were just "ordinary" Hellacopters songs. The third song is 'Ungrounded Confusion', a Flaming Sideburns song by the Hellacopters. The Flaming Sideburns on their turn are paying respect to the most famous Scandinavian rock 'n roll band by playing their version of 'Psyched out and furious' from the Hellacopters' breakthrough album 'Payin' the dues'. Absolutely well done! Also two new songs from the Flaming Sideburns on this 10" and that proves a lot can be expected from the forthcoming debut album of this soulful rock 'n roll band.
