Emo-core strikes back. After Student Rick and Thursday, presented by America's Victory Records, another band breaks the ice. This time five guys calling themselves Taking Back Sunday show what they are capable of. On their debut release `Tell All Your Friends' you can hear great passion and emotion covered with alternately slow and fast rhythms. Not to mention the short piano parts in it, which gives me thrills. The way they present music like this (passionate and heartfelt lyrics included) will open some sort of a new emo generation. It almost sounds like a mixture of Thursday and Saves The Day, which is definitely a compliment. `Tell All Your Friends' is a 34-minute-long listening pleasure, but unfortunately it's over before you realize — so a repeat button would be no luxury. It was hard to get used to this album, but finally I have to admit: It is one of the best emo albums in my collection.
