When checking the box you'd think this one-off jam recording featuring several members of Vandal X, Geschmacksverstärker, and Perverted would be - at least - somewhat interesting. Not the case. In fact it may very well be the most inept record I've heard all year. So it was a spontaneous jam session, you say. Why knock them on that? Why did they have it released then is my question. You can have a lot of fun with your friends and record it, but some things should obviously not be intended to see the light of day. Actually releasing material this insipid as a serious effort by some sort of "supergroup" belies just plain ignorance and a sense of not really caring whether they'd be whoring out the good reputations of their respective bands. In the end it's detrimental, of course. My guess is that it's just cynical greed, selling hot air to willing ears just on the basis of what they already built up on cred and a quote from the Scream's Bobby Gillespie (not the brightest in his family either) on the cover as some sort of supposed justification. But hot air never smelled this bad.
