Allright, they're back!! It took a few months waiting after the release of the EP 'Something To Prove' but it was well worth it. The new album 'Few And Far Between' produced by Roger Miret of Agnostic Front has set foot ashore. All twelve tracks (including the famous Warzone anthem 'Don't forget the struggle, don't forget the streets') on this album are grabbing you right at the balls (sorry girls). It has been a long time since I've heard a band like this. It's beyond doubt, NYC lives. These guys have the acknowledgement how to use all pieces to create almighty hardcore. Well-timed breaks, chunky riffs and hoarse vocals are all present. And to pile it on some guest vocalists; who doesn't know this man: Madball's frontman Freddy, and some relatives. They contribute for the tracks 'Few And Far Between', 'Homestretch', 'Afraid To Fail' and 'Necessary Means'. Another thing I really do appreciate about Shutdown is their message to the world. It's no B-S, it's a fact. Listen to it and don't forget to keep your eyes wide open.
