Opening with some earpiercing feedback, Ro-Robot produces solid alternative rock. This EP was recorded in an abandoned countryhouse somewhere in the Netherlands and shows a lot of promise. The title-song 'Land' is an updated Fall song. And 'Never Met You Girl' shows a hint of Replacements. Buzzing guitars, simple kick-ass drums and a bassguitar, this is indie rock for the young and restless. Rock on...
