Really nice 12'' with two remixes of tracks from the Nicola Conte 'Jet Sounds' album, one by Thievery Corporation and one by Kyoto Jazz Massive. The Japanese nu jazz heroes bring a really laidback version of 'The In Samba', while the two gentlemen from Washington DC reshaped Nicola Conte's classic 'Bossa Per Due' in their own typical style. They both transformed the bossanova tracks into excellent lounge music where the female voices from the original tracks still play the leading part. Great stuff that's bound to end up on a few compilations.
