Marshall Star is not a male cowboy singing country but a female vocalist singing indescribable kinda muzik. The biography tells me that Marshall is the new Kelis but I find the comparison rather odd listening to the music on this single. While Kelis's album is well produced this single is an amalgamation of chaotic sounds and various samples. The single contains two songs 'Get on (Heaven help me)' (7'' & 12" edit) & 'My love'. The title song 'Get on" is an up-tempo electronic soul tune so loaded with sounds it hurts while 'My love' is a rather dull soul ballad. Fact remains however that Marshall has a really nice voice which could have the right effect if accompanied by the right music.
