So, if none of the versions of 'Mind Expansions' are bad (utterly impossible on Compost), they will not stand the test of time either, we fear. If we premeditatedly dump the house-by-numbers of Blaze (not a good idea, man!), we have to decide that Waiwan's Vocal Mix is ultimately your best buy (though it is hardly one of his finest moments). None of the remixers have the guts to get funky with Maiya James' enchanting vocals and, as Jazzanova and Alex Attias show us with so much magnificence, it is on the vocal front where new and exciting things are to be done in the remix sector. Just good is not good enough for Compost.
