Oo la la, kandy kolored babeee strutting her stuff. Who? Kelis (pronounce it Kah-lease, Miss Kelis if yer dirty) in all hues (not quite, she forgot to splash a dash of cherry red on her left shoulder). 'The good stuff iss right here', she promises. Really? Hate to break it to you, but no. Thank God for MTV or she would be selling make-up in *Greenwitch Village* (gettit?). She is like yer Jagged Little Alanis: all veneer but wipe it off (not difficult, just one layer) and you got nothing much. But I'll focus on the music (new sick?). Not bad if you only listen to the first four tracks (you've already heard/seen two of them on MTV). So I will move on to track six. 'Game Show' with a fake kid yapping away. I didn't listen to the rest of the song. YES, I SKIPPED IT. Big deal! Onto track eight. Called 'Mars' so that means I can't relate to it, I am from planet Earth. 'Ghetto Children' features N.E.R.D. Since I am a cyberphreak, I like HAD to relate to this. Sorry, this guy has lost it. What genre does the record contain? Rythm and blues (hey another colour!), phunk, pop (poop? brown! another colour!), rap (she should do a great MC Minnie Mouse). If I would be Ol¹Dirty Bastard I would probably diggit. But I am an Ol' Nagging Bitch and I don't BUY IT (well, I did pay for it so...).No diggity, Kelis, rap it up and get outta here.
