Again a kick-off of a highly potential Core band from the States. The three piece formation from PA named
FeltSideOut recorded some progressive noize on their latest release "Shedding Skin". Time to expand your
horizon.
FeltSideOut is totally different from other Core bands which they proove on this 10 track album. It's a
mixture of melodic, heavy and grindcore sounds with some unexpected turns. Every song differs from one
another except for the solid structure of sharp distortion riffs, hard drums and tough vocals. Most of the
album songs start with a slow intro which fades into some real heavy screaming metal. Listen to "Empty You",
I dig that noize.
Besides the great sound with influences of Misery Loves Co and Korn, also the cover art of the album is one
not to miss. Check it!
It's really hard to get bored with FeltSideOut's "Shedding Skin" in which some bands are the best. A great
variation of emotion and anger make sure that you won't fall asleep and keep moving. Including an
extraordinary sound of a didgeridoo in some songs. I haven't changed the damn disc for the last few days
and I don't have any more words because of a lack of concentration. FeltSideOut is to blame. Try and get
it...
