Dreadlock Pussy | Leaves Of Grass

Single promises much for the future.

After the release of their successful debut-album 'Sharp Instead', which has been released through Zomba last year, Dreadlock Pussy toured the Lowlands for about one year. Now they're back with a new guitarist AND a new single, called 'Leaves of Grass'. The title song of this single turns out to be one of the best songs DP have ever written. The production of the song is much better than the production of last years 'Sharp Instead' (this time around the band recorded at Oscar Holleman's RS-29 studio, where also Dimension Seven recorded their '10 ways to hate'-album). The song has a very good structure, with the fact that you're into it immediately as a result. Besides 'Leaves of Grass', the single contains a few live-recordings, but these aren't worth mentioning. The sound leaves much to be desired, something that is very important for live-recordings. Whatever, this single with the song 'Leaves of Grass' makes me very curious to their new EP which will be released later this year.
