Do Or Die | Heart Full Of Pain

One year ago they introduced themselves. Members of Stuck-Up and Instigate started Do or Die. No one expected they should go as fast as it looks right now. This Belgian band just released their full album on I Scream Records called 'Heart Full Of Pain'. This is what we call Hardcore! The album starts with an unexpected Italian spoken intro. I don't know what it's all about but it really fits with the 10 songs on this album. Contributed by two voices at the mic (death, rap and far out screaming voices) and great musicians at the background they make themselves heard. Maybe I shouldn't talk about 'background' musicians because these guys are clearly present. Great guitar and bass riffs, which sound a bit like Slayer used to do it years ago, supported by massive drums are doing hell of a job. I want to mention some songs that are definitely the best on this album. First of all it's 'Savior'. This is the one that reminds me of Slayer immediately. After that you recognize Do Or Die has its own pride with songs like 'One Life One Crew', 'Heart Full Of Pain' and 'Here I Stand'. After Do or Die's ignition in the HC-scene they toured with bands like Merauder, Deviate, Madball etc. And in a really short time, from the end of 1999, they already put a name on the famous Hardcore list. I have to confess there is one small negative thing about this album. It's over before you realize it. I don't mean the songs are to short, they just drag you beyond all limits. But thanks to heavenly god a repeat button is created on my cd player. Well, I got one last message to those who haven't got this album yet. Buy 'Heart Full Of Pain'!!
