Third installment already for the Vibrations compilation series by belgian label N.E.W.S . A series which is growing quality-wise with every new release. This time you get a flawlessly sequenced compilation full of essential dancefloor killers together with lesser known but nevertheless great tunes. Premier league house hits include: Jean Jacques Smoothie's '2 people' (Mirwais extended mix), Armand Van Helden's 'Why can't u free some time', Kings of Tomorrow's instant classic 'finally' (in Danny Tenaglia's excellent powered-up 'times marches on' mix), The ones' 'Flawless', Jon Cutler's 'It's yours'. Please note that these are merely the first five tunes on the first cd ! All these different versions (here's another one: John Creamer and Stéphane K's mix of 'Hide U' by Kosheen) make it an interesting album for mixspotters with an allergy to vinyl. The lesser known tunes seem to come from the crop of belgium's house scene with for example people like Kelvin ('Stripper'), Behemoth ('Houzy Disko') and personal favorite Mayaku (here appearing with 'Nubian Nights', look out for their upcoming debut-album 'The other side of the Volcano' on Wally's Groove World). I could continue writing that you shouldn't forget to listen to The Hacker mix of Funk D'void's 'Diabla' but i guess you already get the picture. One last call though, this time to all producers around reading this: please use Verna Francis in your next production because more of her sweet voice wouldn't hurt anyone (yep you guessed it right: here appearing in the excellent 'Earth is the place' by Nathan Haines).
