Amazingly enjoyable lounge mix by Enrico Riva.
CD, Life Enhancing Audio/N.E.W.S
Tekst: da volgaBabe
Publicatiedatum: 11 mei 2002
Having rather severely dismissed his first mix as a worst case of somniferous tedium, it is to our great delight and surprise that we encounter an more adventurous Enrico Riva for his second, surprisingly deep journey into late night house and breaks, more commonly referred to as lounge. We, who like to think you can judge a jock on the record he opens his set with, perceived Vincenzo’s ace remix of Rivera Rotation’s Latinicia Witch as a first good sign. Our suspicions were then confirmed with tracks by Modaji, Underwolves, Nemo, Interfearance, S-Tone Inc. and Marc Moulin. And with added remixing duties from such distinguished folk as Nick Holder, Restless Soul and Fauna Flash, we dare declare this one of the most enjoyable lounge mixes ever. And we say that primarily because this time around Enrico Riva has not forgotten that even the gentle and disarming tones of lounge need that connection with the dance floor at any time. Peachy-creamy!
