12", Wally's Groove World

The summer is coming up, and so are the sunny tunes. Marius Acke, a Belgian sound engineer who made his debut on Wally's Groove World 006, teams up with Jan Costermans to form Deepwater. They deliver 'Factor 8', a very summerish track with a lot of dancefloor potential. The bassline emerges from a background of straight rhythims, and it won't leave your mind for the rest of the day. The same ingredients in the 'Marius' Aftersun mix' of 'Factor 8', but this is the laidback version with more spacey sounds. On the b-side Deepwater puts in a jazzy touch in 'Sunshower'. Nice 12".
