Truly amazing 3-tracker that's groovy, relentless and full of fun. Basically a pretty loopy affair it avoids walking the beaten paths of the genre by throwing in well-timed vocal samples and a battery of clever effects. Add to this a Detroit sense of melody and a stroke of that by now unavoidable West-Coast genius for meticulously building up tracks and you just know that you find yourself in must-have territory. It takes all the right elements from very diverse styles and artists like Deep Dish's Yoshitoshi, Vienna's Ratio, Detroit's Octave One and Chicago's Gene Farris, thereby not neglecting the necessary oldskool accents transpiring in the subtle Todd Terry and DJ Pierre influences. If you've heard this on a dancefloor, you will be lost. Record of the month without any doubt and another reminder that the West-Coast is one of the main players on the tech-house front.
