Justice has been done. Dandare has found a label. After numerous demos and appearances on samplers MadSkull records decided so sign these guys and released their first full-length. Ten years of making hardcore punk in a style that goes back to the early 80's has finally paid off.
I wonder what took them so long, because these guys from the north of Holland can easily measure up to most of the bigger hardcore acts in Holland. The rhythm section consists of two brothers. If their personal relation is as good as their playing together they must be the best friends in the world. Where most hardcore bands playing at this speed lose their sense of detail and control, Dandare maintains tight and aware of every accent or transition. Especially the drummer rules over his instrument. It is the powerful production of this CD that accentuates that even more. Though every instrument sounds isolated the total sound falls right into place. The singer captures the feel of anarchy in his voice, but lyrically almost every song is about personal stuff and frustrations about people in general.
As an extra the songs from Dandare's last demo Pack Of Sheep are added to this album, which makes that this CD features a grand total of eighteen songs. But on't think this extra material consists of crappy sounding bogus bonus part junk. In fact, some of my personal favorites like Don't Fuck With Me and I Don't Think So are among those tracks. I sincerely hope this album will cause some sort of breakthrough for this underrated band. They sure did a great effort.
