Crazytown | The Gift Of The Game

For those who like bands such as (Hed)p.e. and Limp Bizkit, here's another band to certainly watch out for: Crazy Town. Their debut-album 'The Gift of Game' is in stores now, and it's definitely worth a listen.
This band from L.A. exists of seven members, including the rappers Shifty and Epic and a DJ. On 'The Gift of Game' Crazy Town are mixing hip-hop and metal. Especially the hip-hop elements are emphatic present on the album. Although they can be compared to Limp Bizkit and (Hed)p.e., with this album Crazy Town have released an album which is not just a copy of an album of those bands. Crazy Town sounds fresh in a genre where its hard to earn a place.
Best songs are 'Toxic', 'Black Cloud', 'Butterfly', 'Revolving Door' and 'B-Boy 2000'. Guest appearances on this album are from KRS-One ('B-Boy 2000') and Jay Gordon from Orgy ('Black Cloud'). The album is produced by Josh Abraham (Orgy). We'll definitely hear more from this crossover-band in the near future.
