Ashamed am I in Curtis Jones' place that he felt the need to throw this uninspired and hard-as-hell compilation on the already saturated market of mixed cd's. Of course not every track on this cd is bad but never ever during this increasingly irritating ride to hell does Mister Green Velvet feel the need to calm down or insert a relaxed or trippy tech-houser, let alone something catchy or fluffy. No, it's all tough, minimal and relentless machinetechno, only more over-the-top sounding through the over-extensive use of the by now bored-out Pioneer EFX-500. No! No! and again: No!: this is not the way to put the diverse talents of such acclaimed talents like Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Speedy J, Rok or Mark Ambrose on display. And putting his own, by now almost 10 years old, 'Flash' for the hundreth time on this cd won't raise his crediblity either. Being made-up differently every time you spot him is one thing, secreting this piece of shit of a mixed cd is another story. Techno for children that gives the genre a bad name. Is this really the man who a few years ago saved Chicago from an early death? Time for a break, Curtis?
