I've been waiting for this CD for a couple of months now. And I wasn't sure it was going to be released at all. As the band had a lot of line-up problems, recently. Cap'n Mike Mahoney quit the band, but they've already found a new drummer in the person of Rowan Hilderth. Getting back to the CD, it contains 25 tracks that make up more than 73 minutes of pure chaos! Eleven songs were recorded at their reunion show (in Boston of course!). On these live recordings there are songs from all of their albums. 'Maldito', 'Piss all over your hopes and dreams' are from their debut. 'Bitch called hope' and 'Revenge on society' are from the the album 'Revenge on society'. And there are also a couple of songs from their latest CD 'Livin' in exile'. The other 14 tracks are hard to find B-sides from sold-out 7 inches, and songs from a sold-out demo-tape. The rest of the songs are cover songs of bands Blood for Blood pays tribute to. The 3 bands who get the homage from Blood for Blood are Slapshot, the Wretched Ones and the Dead Boys. For anybody who doesn't know how Blood for Blood sounds (shame on you, by the way), I can probably describe 'em as a combination of The Blitz, Sheer Terror and Madball. I can only say that this record won't leave my CD player for the next couple of months. White thrash rock 'n roll in your face!!!
