When it comes to drug-drone, there's no better medication than Bardo Pond: walls of guitars shifting, weaving, pulsing, modulating - it's the aural equivalent of watching the slow movements of glaciers. It's slightly less impressive if one considers that 'Set And Setting' is basically from the same mold as the previous (also excellent) albums 'Lapsed' and 'Amanita'.
