A second 3-tracker already for the latest label of the Phil Spector of tech-house and man, is it a scorcher! No deep or dreamy stuff this time around, rather an unleashing of crunchy and grinding technohell on the verge of the pain threshold. D1, on the a-side, takes no prisoners and is a typical example of the man's stressy, always nervously twitching techno emphasising raw, almost unfinished sounds, pounding beats and angrily tweeking spacial static and is consequently aimed at the uncompromising scorched-earth type of dancefloor. The two cuts on the flip subdue the hostilities and are more in sync with his usual tech-house approach, with the battlesounds of D2 being slightly thwarted by a deep synthwave, while the meditative, dubby D3 goes all Basic Channel and wouldn't find itself out of place on a regular Central release. Another victory then from an artist who hasn't released a flawed record in years?
