Angel Crew | Another Day Living In Hatred
Believe the hype surrounding the hardcore supergroup.

Angel Crew is a side-project of Europe's biggest scene stars. To name a few, Pat (vocals in Backfire!), Danny (vocals in DV8, but plays guitar in Angel Crew) and other members of Hometrust, Arkangel and Length Of Time. As you can probably imagine, this is the most hyped hardcoreband from Europe at the moment. Now you are probably wondering: "Do I have to believe the hype?" My answer is: "YES!" When I listen to the vocals they mostly remind me of Backfire! I think that has something to do with the fact that Pat has such a recognizable voice. About the music, it sounds a lot like a typical eurocore band with metalcore influences. Okay, this doesn't sound very special but this record is tighter than a chicken's ass (don't ask me how tight that actually is, but I am guessing really tight). Songs like 'Another Day Living In Hatred' and 'Side By Side' are furious old school songs. But very tough metalcore songs, such as 'Strength Of One' give the album a more diverse sound. I can tell you from experience that their live performance blew everything away, which resulted in a big pit (and a black eye for me). Too bad it is only a side-project, otherwise I would predict a big future for this band.
