For some time now there is a new show on radio3 voor 12: Subbacultcha. Joris Gillet presents in this 3 hour show your weekly needed doses of alternative rock and indiepop. Live broadcasting every wednesday 13-16 uur.
Dubblecheck, the journalistic program of VPRO's Internet Broadcast station 3voor12, has a special this week (9-2) on cd-burners and the music industry. By the way, Buma Stemra estimated that sales of blanc cds will run into the multi-millions this year and they fear revenue. The five major record companies announced Monday (Feb. 8) that they will join with computer-industry giant IBM in trying out a new way of delivering full-length CDs to consumers via the Net.
